It's really a cool place to visit. I like going there because of the possibility. It's a place that you would have to visit for yourself to get the full effect.

The Visit Roanoke .org website that is listed as the Markets website says they are open 7 days a week 8-5 pm. We got in Saturday about 3 pm on Saturday and it was shutting down. Did get some lovely biscuits. We came back Sunday at noon and it was closed - no market. We asked a local shop keeps who said it’s only Saturdays until 2 pm. We has heard so much about this market and are disappointed they publicly list themselves as being open 7 days a week we were told it’s been only Saturdays since the pandemic which is 5 years now. The Sunday activity was a pay to get in Renaissance festival. No market.

There are some very cool shops, lots of unique restaurants, and i loved the pinball museum, where you play unlimited games for the cost of admission. A great place there for kids and adults.

Great little indoor and outdoor city market with 🍑🍓 fruit and 🥦🥕🧅 vegetable stalls, local art, and indoor restaurant stalls with food from all over the world. The indoor section has ♿ handicap accessible seating and 🚻 restrooms. Perfect spot for a weekend stroll and shopping.

Roanoke has a great downtown and the City Market is a big part of that. We have enjoyed the Market as both an event and a space. The shopkeepers and the patrons are all friendly and you come across some pretty cool stuff.
